Composite Numbers

Composite Numbers - a composite number is a whole number that can be divided by more than two integers. The set comprises all numbers, except 0 and 1, not in the set of prime numbers.

All even numbers, for instance, are composite numbers except for 2. Why isn't 2 a composite number? Because it can only be divided by 1 and itself, which makes it prime. But, any other even number is a composite because it can be divided at least by 1, 2, and itself.
